Sue Kunimune, Principal Recruiter and Career Consultant
Prior to the launch of Kunimune & Associates in 2003, Sue helped launch two other successful search firms, inkinen and Associates in Honolulu, Hawaii, a leader in Pacific Rim executive search and Career Staffing International in Denver.
She is a sought-after workshop facilitator and speaker, presenting at the Society of Hispanic Human Resources Professionals (SHRRP), the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) , the Hawaii Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Hawaii Society of Business Professionals, and National Association of Professional Women Hawaii chapter.
A committed Talent Acquisition Consultant/Job Transition Coach, Sue is passionate about assisting job seekers with building their brand, networking, interviewing, and landing new jobs. She leverages her insights as a recruiter and extensive candidate network including over 10MM Linkedin connections.
Sue completed her B.A. in Spanish while studying at the Instituto Internacional in Madrid, Spain. She has lived and worked in Spain, the West Indies, Mexico, Colorado, and Hawaii. In 2017, she returned from a 4-year recruiting assignment at Bishop & Company, an award-winning locally-owned Staffing Agency and Executive Search firm that provides high-quality staffing solutions for all-size companies in a variety of industries in the state of Hawaii.
